The Padma Bhushan is the third-highest civilian award preceded by Bharat Ratan (Highest Civilian Award) and Padma Vibhushan (Second Highest Civilian) and followed by Padma Shri (fourth highest civilian) this award is given by Governement of India on the approval of Prime Minister and President of India.

And on 25/Jan/2020 Indian Government (Ministry of Home Affairs) release the list of Padma Awards for 2020 which includes 7 Padma Vibushan, 16 Padma Bhushan and 118 Padma Shri Awards for various categories and 33 of awardees are women and also includes 18 Forginors/NRI and 12 Posthumous (Award after Death) awards.

Total 16 peoples are in the list of Padma Bhushan Award for the year 2020 

1. Anil Prakash Joshi: Great Indian Social Worker, botanist, and Founder of Himalayan Environment studies and conservation organization known for his social work on environment conservation. 

2. Jagdish Sheth:  Professor of Marketing at Goizueta Business school of Emory Known for his initial year work for IIM Calcutta (First IIM of India).

3. Anand Mahindra:  Indian Businessman and Chairman of Mahindra Group.

4. Manohar Parrikar:  Indian Politician and former Chief Minister of Goa

5. Krishnammal Jagannathan: 93-year-old Social service activist women from Tamil Nadu.

6. Muzaffar Hussain Baig:  Indian Politician and Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir.

7. Venu Srinivasan:  Indian Industrialist and Chairman of TVS Group.

8. Ajoy Chakrabarty: Indian Classical Vocalist from Kolkata.

9. N.R Madhava Menon: Indian Lawyer and Civil Servant considered by many as Father of modern legal education in India, also known as another name Appu.

10. P.V Sindhu:  Indian Professional Badminton Player.

11. Sri M: Also Known as Sri Madhukarnath, A living yogi from Thiruvananthapuram.

12. Manoj Das: Indian Author from Balasore, Odisha

13. Syed Muazzem Ali: Bangladeshi Foreign service officer and Career Diplomat.

14. B.V Doshi: Indian Architect who has designed an Amdavad ni Gufa (Art Gallery) in Gujrat.

15. Tsering Landol: Indian Gynecologist from Ladakh

16. S.C Jamir:  Former Chief Minister of Nagaland and Former Governor of Maharashtra, Goa and many other states.

The Total 16 Padma Bhushan & other Padma awards will be honored by President of India at Ceremonial function in Rashtrapati bawan usually in March or April Month every year.
